CAC hosting painter Eric Galbreath/ annual job expo

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. ? As a new academic year begins at Central Arizona College, so too does a new slate of artists to be featured at the college?s Visual Arts Gallery.

?

Galbreath received his undergraduate degree in visual arts from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Point Park College, as well as a master of divinity degree from Alliance Theological Seminary in 1994. Influences from his lifelong career in graphic design can be seen in his use of color and texture as the medium of communication.

?

An artist known for his use of vibrant hues and cascading tones to evoke a variety of emotional responses, from joy and inspiration, to introspection and meditative thought, Galbreath?s work will be on display until Oct. 2.

?

There is no charge to attend the event, which is open to the public. The menu for the complimentary reception will feature a Southwest theme concocted by Central Arizona College?s culinary arts students that will be served passed hors d?oeuvres style.

?

CAC?s Visual Arts Gallery is located in the Student Services Building (Building M, Clock Tower) on the college?s Signal Peak Campus (8470 N. Overfield Road, Coolidge, AZ? 85128).

?

The gallery is open Mon. through Thurs. from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except for holidays, and on Fri. from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
