Duluth, MN (Northland?s NewsCenter) --- Dozens of people are sporting new haircuts and their new styles will help in the fight against breast cancer.

The salon team at the Miller Hill Mall Younkers donated its time and services on Sunday to take part in Cut for a Cure.

Guests received shampoos, styles, manicures, pedicures waxes and hair colorings.

All of the proceeds from the services will be donated to the St. Luke's Foundation's Cancer Research Funds to help in the ongoing struggle for women and to assist in research to find a cure.

"We've seen several that have come in with their family members, or trying to support their friends or neighbors,? Therese Spehar, Director of Salon Operations said. ?It's exciting and a wonderful atmosphere today."

Stylists hoped to raise $5,000 as part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
